Keyonna Joyner

Keyonna Joyner serves as the Program Director for TRIO Student Support Services at UNC Charlotte. A first-generation college graduate and proud UNC Charlotte alumna, she is passionate about supporting students as they navigate their educational journeys and achieve their goals. Prior to joining UNC Charlotte, Keyonna worked in Academic Advising and TRIO Student Support Services at Forsyth Technical Community College and later oversaw First-Year and Second-Year Experience programs at Winston-Salem State University.

Keyonna earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from UNC Charlotte and a Master of Science in Adult Education from North Carolina A&T State University. She is currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership at Appalachian State University. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new foods, working out, and watching sports.
